🌹 SACRED SPAIN a Journey of the Soul A Pilgrimage of Passion, Ancestors, Magic & Discovery September 14 to 27, 2027 with Vera Lopez
Journey Into the Heart of Sacred Spain
Where flamenco meets the divine feminine…
Where ancient Moorish whispers still echo through cobblestone streets…
Where your soul remembers what it came here to reclaim.
This is not a trip to Spain. This is a pilgrimage into a land where passion lives in the architecture, where art breathes through every plaza, and where ancestral memory awakens with every step you take.
Here, you will dance with flamenco goddesses, walk the paths of ancient mystics, and drink from the well of sacred feminine wisdom that still pulses beneath this magical land.
You will feel it in your body before you understand it in your mind: the fire, the devotion, the fierce and tender power of the feminine, rising in you as you move through sun-drenched courtyards, whitewashed villages, and centuries-old sanctuaries.
Spain does not ask you to observe. Spain asks you to feel, to surrender to rhythm, to color, to the sacred pulse beneath the surface of everything. Come reclaim the parts of yourself that have been waiting here, all along.

SACRED SPAIN
A Journey into the Mysteries of Earth, Spirit & the Divine Feminine
Spain is a land where civilizations have layered their prayers upon the same sacred ground. Here, ancient stones speak beside magnificent cathedrals, the Black Madonna waits within a mountain sanctuary, Islamic geometry opens windows into infinity, and flamenco gives voice to something older than words.
Sacred Spain is not simply a journey through beautiful places. It is a pilgrimage through Light, Mother, Fire, Earth and Paradise, an invitation to encounter Spain's mysteries while awakening something timeless within yourself.
ITINERARY September 14 to 27
DAY 1, September 14 | BARCELONA Arrival • The Threshold
Welcome to Barcelona, where the Mediterranean meets a city shaped by imagination, beauty, and an unmistakable creative spirit.
Today is a day to arrive, to settle into our hotel and allow ourselves to cross the threshold from ordinary life into a sacred journey. As our group gathers from different corners of the world, we begin to slow down, become present, and open ourselves to what Spain may reveal.
In the evening, we come together for our Opening Circle — setting intentions and creating the sacred container that will hold us throughout our pilgrimage. Overnight: Sitges - Barcelona
DAY 2, September 15 | BARCELONA Sacred Geometry • The Temple of Light Today we enter the extraordinary visionary world of Antoni Gaudí, whose architecture seems less constructed than grown from the Earth itself.
Our centerpiece is the magnificent Sagrada Família, where columns rise like trees, stone becomes movement, and colored light pours through stained glass like a living prayer. Rather than experiencing this masterpiece as architecture alone, we explore its deeper language: nature, sacred geometry, symbolism, light, and the relationship between the human and the Divine. We continue through Gaudí's Barcelona, discovering the whimsical forms and mosaics of Park Güell, and letting beauty itself become today's spiritual practice.
Theme of the Day: Awakening to Beauty Overnight: Sitges - Barcelona
DAY 3, September 16 | MONTSERRAT The Black Madonna • Mother in the Mountain
Today we leave Barcelona and travel into the extraordinary mountains of Montserrat, whose enormous serrated rock formations have inspired pilgrims and mystics for centuries.
Hidden within this dramatic landscape is one of Spain's most beloved sacred treasures, Our Lady of Montserrat, La Moreneta, the Black Madonna.
We approach Montserrat as pilgrims.
There will be time for the sanctuary, for contemplation, and for connection with the mountain itself. The Black Madonna invites us into the mystery of the Divine Mother, the darkness from which creation emerges, and the wisdom held within the feminine.
Surrounded by ancient stone and endless sky, we listen for what the mountain has to say.
We return to Barcelona carrying her blessing. Theme of the Day: The Divine Mother Overnight: Sitges - Barcelona
DAY 4, September 17 | BARCELONA → MADRID Into the Heart of Spain
This morning we board Spain's high-speed train and travel from Barcelona to Madrid, watching Spain's landscapes unfold around us.
Madrid offers another face of the country, regal, elegant, vibrant, and unmistakably Spanish.
After settling into our hotel, we'll explore the capital's grand avenues, plazas, and monuments, giving ourselves a lighter day between two powerful spiritual experiences.
This is also a day for conversation, wonderful Spanish food, and simply enjoying the pleasure of being in Spain.
Theme of the Day: Presence & Discovery Overnight: Madrid
DAY 5, September 18 | MADRID → SEVILLE Entering Andalucía
After enjoying more of Madrid, we board the high-speed train south.
As we enter Andalucía, the energy changes.
This is the Spain of orange blossoms, tiled courtyards, Moorish arches, fountains, music, passion, and centuries of cultures layered upon one another.
We arrive in Seville, one of Europe's most intoxicating cities, and settle into the slower rhythm of the south.
Tonight, allow yourself to wander, taste, and feel.
We have entered Andalucía. Theme of the Day: Crossing into the South
DAY 6, September 19 | SEVILLE Beauty • Devotion • The Soul of Andalucía
Today we enter the heart of Seville.
We explore the magnificent Royal Alcázar, where Islamic and Christian artistic traditions intertwine through gardens, water, intricate tilework, and exquisite architecture.
We continue into historic Seville, including its monumental Cathedral, the Giralda, and the atmospheric streets of Santa Cruz.
Everywhere we look, civilizations have left their mark.
Instead of asking which tradition owns the sacred, we contemplate something larger today: what happens when humanity's different ways of reaching toward the Divine meet in one place?
Theme of the Day: Beauty as a Path to the Sacred Overnight: Seville
DAY 7, September 20 | SEVILLE Flamenco • The Sacred Fire
Today we slow down.
There will be time to enjoy Seville, to wander, to shop, to sit in a café, or simply allow Andalucía to enter us. But as evening approaches, we meet another ancient Spanish mystery: Flamenco.
Beyond performance lies something the Spanish call duende, that mysterious moment when technique disappears and something raw, soulful, and almost supernatural moves through the artist.
Flamenco carries longing, grief, sensuality, strength, passion, and joy. Tonight, we allow ourselves not merely to watch it… but to feel it. Theme of the Day: The Fire Within Overnight: Seville
DAY 8, September 21 | SEVILLE → CÓRDOBA → ANTEQUERA Córdoba • The Meeting of Worlds
Today our journey takes us deeper into Andalucía.
We first travel to Córdoba, once one of medieval Europe's great intellectual and cultural centers.
At its heart stands the extraordinary Mezquita-Catedral, where seemingly endless red-and-white arches create a mesmerizing forest of columns.
Mosque became cathedral. Civilizations changed. Prayers changed. Yet the sacred ground remained.
We explore Córdoba's historic quarter and allow time for lunch before continuing toward Antequera. By evening, the cities fall behind us. We are entering the land of the ancients.
Theme of the Day: Many Paths • One Mystery Overnight: Antequera
⭐ DAY 9 | SEPTEMBER 22 • ANTEQUERA The Ancient Ones • Stone, Time & Rebirth
Today is unlike any other day of our journey. We enter the Dolmens of Antequera, monumental stone temples created nearly 5,000 years ago, long before the cathedrals, palaces, and religions that came afterward.
We encounter Menga, Viera, and El Romeral, extraordinary expressions of a people whose relationship with Earth, death, sky, and the unseen world remains, to this day, partly mysterious.
Inside these ancient chambers, enormous stones surround us. Generations have come and gone. Empires have risen and disappeared. And the stones remain.
Today also marks Vera's 70th birthday, making this ancient landscape the setting for a deeply personal celebration of life, transformation, and the mystery of time.
Together, we honor not only one birthday, but the sacred passage through life's seasons, a reminder that our own stories are part of something far older and larger than ourselves. Tonight, we celebrate.
Theme of the Day: Stone • Time • Ancestors • Rebirth Overnight: Antequere
DAY 10, September 23 | EL TORCAL → GRANADA The Stone People • Messages of the Earth
Our communion with ancient Earth continues at El Torcal de Antequera, one of Spain's most extraordinary natural landscapes.
Here, limestone shaped over millions of years has become an otherworldly kingdom of towers, faces, guardians, and strange stone beings.
Nature has become the sculptor.
We walk slowly among these formations, allowing imagination and intuition to awaken.
What do we see when we stop naming everything?
What becomes visible when we begin listening?
After our time among the Stone People, we continue toward Granada, where another world awaits us.
Theme of the Day: Listening to the Living Earth Overnight: Granada
DAY 11, September 24 | GRANADA The Moorish Soul
Today belongs to Granada itself.
We explore the atmospheric Albaicín, the ancient hillside quarter of whitewashed houses, hidden gardens, winding lanes, and breathtaking views toward the Alhambra.
Granada carries an unmistakable feeling of mystery and longing. Christian and Islamic Spain still seem to whisper to one another across its hills.
We intentionally keep today gentler.
Tomorrow, we enter the Alhambra.
Today, we simply allow ourselves to feel Granada. As sunset colors the Sierra Nevada and the Alhambra begins to glow across the valley, we prepare for the final great initiation of our journey.
Theme of the Day: Mystery • Memory • Surrender Overnight: Granada
DAY 12, September 25 | THE ALHAMBRA Paradise on Earth
We have moved through Light. We have encountered the Mother. We have entered Fire. We have stood among the Ancestors. We have listened to the Earth. And today… we enter Paradise.
The Alhambra is one of humanity's great expressions of beauty: a world of water, gardens, poetry, geometry, carved stone, and architecture created to evoke something beyond the physical world.
We explore the Nasrid Palaces and Generalife Gardens, contemplating the ancient idea of the garden as a reflection of Paradise.
This is not merely our visit to the Alhambra. It is the culmination of Sacred Spain. Theme of the Day: Beauty • Harmony • The Divine Overnight: Granada
DAY 13, September 26 | GRANADA → MADRID The Return
Today we leave Andalucía and return to Madrid. But return is never quite the same as arrival.
We have walked through ancient temples and magnificent palaces, sat before the Black Madonna, entered forests of stone and forests of columns, felt flamenco move through the body, and stood within architecture designed to evoke Paradise.
Today is about integration.
What are we bringing home? What has changed? What wants to live differently through us now?
Tonight we gather for our Closing Celebration, sharing a beautiful meal and honoring the journey we have traveled together.
Theme of the Day: Integration • Gratitude • Celebration Overnight: Madrid
DAY 14, September 27 | MADRID The Journey Continues
Our pilgrimage through Sacred Spain comes to its completion.
After breakfast, we say goodbye to the companions who have shared these extraordinary days with us, and begin our journeys home.
Yet sacred journeys never truly end when the airplane takes off. Something has been touched. Something has been remembered. And perhaps that is why we travel to sacred places in the first place, not simply to discover another land, but to rediscover ourselves within it. Barcelona • Montserrat • Madrid • Seville • Córdoba • Antequera • El Torcal • Granada Ancient lands. Sacred places. Timeless wisdom. A new chapter.
